Encore Stone Studio has 5 locations in Austin, Texas, Charleston, South Carolina, Birmingham, Alabama, Beaufort, South Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina.
Through connecting the consumer with hand selected high quality stone, we strive to be the number one educational resource and distributor in the natural stone industry. Our business model allows full transparency and empowers the consumer through providing hand selected natural stone and quartz from around the world all in one place.

At Encore Studio Studio we have a firm belief that shopping for marble, granite, quartzite or quartz slabs should be an easy, fun and transparent process. We believe that instead of overwhelming, the stone shopping experience should be rewarding; instead of exhausting, it should be inspirational; instead of confusing it should be educational. That's why we founded Encore Stone Studio.
After working in the stone industry for over 15 years as a partner in Pacific Shore Stones, Vinny Tavares envisioned a company where consumers could learn and have fun while shopping for their perfect countertops, vanity tops, slab-covered bathroom shower walls or the ultimate stone clad fireplace. He envisioned a place where consumers could be inspired and their questions about pricing answered on the spot. Wandering around a 30,000 sqft facility with thousands of slabs and having to make selections without knowing much about the slab doesn't seem to us as the friendliest way to shop for stone. We wanted to change that and at the same time assist consumers in answering questions about the fabrication process, layout, bookmatching, finish options, edge profiles, pros and cons of each material, long-term stone care...
While we don't fabricate and install stone we pride ourselves in having one of the best selections in the country. Our passion is to bring stone from dozens of countries throughout the world and assist shoppers in choosing the best stone for their project. We can recommend fabricators (stone contractors) and take care of the delivery process.
