At Encore Studio Studio we have a firm belief that shopping for marble, granite, quartzite or quartz slabs should be an easy, fun and transparent process. We believe that instead of overwhelming, the stone shopping experience should be rewarding; instead of exhausting, it should be inspirational; instead of confusing it should be educational. That's why we founded Encore Stone Studio. 

 

After working in the stone industry for over 15 years as a partner in Pacific Shore Stones, Vinny Tavares envisioned a company where consumers could learn and have fun while shopping for their perfect countertops, vanity tops, slab-covered bathroom shower walls or the ultimate stone clad fireplace. He envisioned a place where consumers could be inspired and their questions about pricing answered on the spot. Wandering around a 30,000 sqft facility with thousands of slabs and having to make selections without knowing the price of each slab doesn't seem to us as the friendliest way to shop for stone. We wanted to change that and at the same time assist consumers in answering questions about the fabrication process, layout, bookmatching, finish options, edge profiles, pros and cons of each material, long-term stone care...
